IMATRONIC – Festival of Electronic Music 2013
Wed-Sat, November 27 – 30, 2013 at the ZKM | Karlsruhe
With this year’s bestowal of the Giga-Hertz Prize, the audience may expect spectacular works and fascinating presentations. In addition, the focus of SoundArt has now been substantially expanded to include three prize winners and is thus honored in its contemporary importance.
In addition to the concerts forming part of the award ceremony, four concerts with twenty works as well as four premier performances for piano and electronics will be held over the preceding three days. From dance performances with noise music, SoundArt presentations on space music in the ZKM_Sound Dome through to live electronics and pieces produced by the SWR EXPERIMENTALSTUDIO – visitors will find spectacular works and exciting presentations.
